Skills (use the knowledge to solve a problem)

  • Design a robust controller for an LTI system (possibly a MIMO system) by minimizing the \mathcal H_\infty norm of mixed sensitivity function.
  • Design a robust controller for an LTI system (possibly a MIMO system) by minimizing the \mathcal H_\infty norm of an appropriate closed-loop system. The first subtask is to formulate the control design problem as the optimization problem based on provided control requirements. The second subtask of numerically solving the optimization problem is typically handled by a software tool, and you should demonstrate awareness of existence and capability to use at least one such tool (in Julia, Matlab, Python, …).
